The Accelerator for Water Solutions, the first initiative under the initiative, will focus on start-ups with innovative solutions to address global water challenges like stormwater, wastewater, and potable water management.
The new accelerator programme aims to encourage start-ups developing the kind of innovation that might enhance the CRH portfolio throughout North America and Europe. CRH owns businesses that are involved in the water and energy industries.
The inaugural programme will last up to 6 months and give businesses the option to collaborate with professionals from all of CRH’s water-related firms.
“CRH is a market leader in water management services, and through the CRH Ventures Accelerator for Water Solutions, we will take action even more by partnering with business owners in the building innovation and environment tech area to produce and advance the next generation of options needed to deal with some of the most significant water issues society deals with,” said Eduardo Gomez, head of CRH Ventures.
Businesses must apply through the CRH Ventures website (crhventures.com) in order to participate in the programme. In June 2023, assessments will take place, and the pilot phase will last from July to October 2023.
The company with the most successful pilots will be reviewed to determine its viability across CRH and potential for CRH Ventures investment.
