Los Angeles Lakers and their supporters are unhappy after the team lost Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday by a score of 108-103, dropping the series to 2-0.
Some can argue that both losses, especially the Lakers’ loss in Game 2, were greatly influenced by self-inflicted injuries. The first half of Game 1 saw them blow it out by 18 points at halftime and quit scoring at 72 points, and the second game was lost due to poor offensive decision-making that allowed Denver to go on a 15-1 run.

They will receive a metaphorical shot of painkillers from their home fans and a reprieve from the stifling atmosphere of the Mile High City because they are returning home for the next two games. Be clear: The Lakers are winning and are just one move away from being eliminated.
After Game 2, LeBron James said that even though Games 3 and 4 would take place in Los Angeles, he and his teammates could not feel any convenience (@ 2:37).
“At this point, it really doesn’t matter who starts or comes off the bench almost how we can complete the task and win the video game.” @KingJames explains the importance of triumphing in any situation. pic.twitter.com/o1J4wXK1Yh
As we did earlier this evening when we pulled out an L, James declared, “We’re still going to have fun with that same desperation.” But it no longer offers us any convenience. Since you did not lose at home and you are returning home, you cannot enter any postseason video game with ease. I think you need to be on edge a lot more. You return home, climb into bed, spend time with your family, and everyone is acting normally. No, going home requires you to be much more alert. We had to understand that falling back down 0-2 was not ideal. There is no reason for us to relax.
At the end of Monday night, this series very well may be tied at 2-2, but the Lakers will need to fix a few issues.
