Hendrick Motorsports is back on the top with Kyle Larson making his 2nd win of the 2023 season at Martinsville, beating Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr.

Christopher Bell stays in control of the champion lead, 5 points clear of Ross Chastain.

Chastain gets in Talladega as the protecting winner of the April occasion, which marks his latest Cup Series success.

Today, Kaulig Racing had all points charges rescinded throughout its last appeal, which came at the demand of NASCAR in the interest of fairness.

Furthermore, the No. 3 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet of Austin Dillon was punished after being reclaimed to the R&D Center for additional evaluation. They were docked 60 motorist and owner points, in addition to 5 playoff points. Team primary Keith Rodden was suspended for the next 2 races and fined $75,000.

Sports Who is racing at Talladega

38 cars and trucks are on the entry list with 2 open entries.

Zane Smith will be back behind the wheel of the No. 38 FRM Ford, so the group will go into a 3rd cars and truck (No. 36) for Todd Gilliland.

Beard Motorsports will be making their very first look considering that the Daytona 500, where they stopped working to make the race. Austin Hill will once again be piloting the vehicle.
