now’s a new Mac Studio out now with a faster processor and better HDMI, but if all you need is a snappy Mac desktop, the M1 design is still a great option. And the cost is lower now than ever before: We have not found a better deal than Expercom’s $1,699 price tag on the Mac Studio with an M1 max processor and 512GB of storage.
In a 7.7-inch cube, the Mac Studio has a ‘0-core CPU, a 24-core GPU, 32GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage, making it a little powerhouse. There are two USB-C ports and an SD card slot on the front, and four Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-Z connectors, HDMI, and Ethernet on the back. It shared the Mac mini’s lack of a keyboard, mouse, and screen.
We gave the Mac Studio 4.5 stars overall and praised its efficiency, writing that it was “worth the financial investment at all levels.” And now that you can save $300 on it, it’s an even better investment.
