Terra’s branding at MLB opener draws attention from viewers

As baseball lovers gathered to Nationals Park in Washington D.C for the opening day of the Major League Baseball (MLB) season, the look of Terra — the crypto community that collapsed in May 2022– didn’t go undetected by participants.

A Twitter user who went to The Washington Nationals’ house opener versus the Atlanta Braves on March 30 shared a picture of Terra plainly showed on a banner with the motto, “a decentralized economy requires decentralized cash.”

“Sounds like a strong business. Will take a look at,” the user talked about the popular positioning of Terra at the arena.

Another Twitter user stated the Terra Club– a VIP pre-game place experience– lags the home base at Nationals Park, and “a huge check in left center” promoting Terra.

The collaboration in between Terra and The Washington Nationals’ entered result in February 2022, simply months prior to Terra’s collapse.

The Terra neighborhood devoted $38.2 million in TerraUSD (UST) over 5 years to protect the offer.

Terra’s creator, Do Kwon, proposed the collaboration through the neighborhood’s governance platform.
