The Legend of Zelda: Tears for the Kingdom is one of the most played games on the Nintendo Switch. In contrast, this game is arguably among the most well-known titles of this generation. Its main characters are well-known to fans and have served as role models for countless cosplayers.
When it comes to cosplaying their favourite characters, some fans take things to an extreme. That’s exactly what someone did with their latest idea for Link’s cosplay.

In Tears of the Kingdom, the best arm Link has isn’t even his own. Only the old king of the Zonai people, King Rauru, saw him as an equal arm.
When the game starts, or if Link loses track of Princess Zelda, Rauru is not present. Rauru’s hand suddenly appears out of nowhere to save Link as Ganon awakens and destroys the Master Sword and Link’s arm.

Rauru eventually makes his way to Link, where he explains the significance of the arm and gives it to him. In this game, Link’s arm is the source of all his abilities. It’s the single most crucial aspect in the game.
Possibly that’s why the cosplayer started with Rausru’s arm. They rigged their own prosthetic hand into an arm and posted a video online to show off their creation to other Zelda enthusiasts. The reception of this novel approach has been overwhelmingly positive.
My prosthesis and I are working on a Link cosplay from u/Fullmetalharmony’s The Legend of Zelda.
The arm itself wiggles and lights up in response to the user’s finger movements, making it look like a highly complex work of mechanical art. It’s a fantastic facsimile of Link’s sidekick, and it’ll be awesome to see the whole cosplay come together.

Many of the spectators who seen this hand in motion were impressed. The amount of labour that went into creating this arm has even been praised by some. Others, however, have made it clear that it is not Link’s arm, but rather an arm given to him by Rauru.
