Cherry Magic! is a popular manga series among males. Can You Become a Wizard If You Stay a Virgin for Thirty Years? (or, in Japanese, 30-sai Dtei da to Mah Tsukai ni Nareru Rashii) is getting a makeover for an anime series! There is no trailer as of yet, but mangaka Yuu Toyota thanked fans and announced the announcement on Twitter along with a brand new image.

There has also been a release of information related to the anime. Chiaki Kobayashi has been cast as Kiyoshi Adachi, and Ryta Suzuki has been tapped to play Yichi Kurosawa, according to reports.

Satelight is producing the anime, while Yoshiko Okuda, director of Kakuriyo -Bed & & Breakfast for Spirits-, is in charge. Tomoko Konparu, who has worked on Kakuriyo -Bed & & Breakfast for Spirits- As Uta no Prince-sama– Maji Love 1000%, is in charge of supervising the writing for the series. Takahiro Kishida, who is famous for his work on series like Durarara!! and more, has been tasked with character design. not to mention Puella Magi Madoka Magica

The first volume of the manga debuted in 2018. Square Enix Manga & & Books has announced the English release of the manga with the following synopsis:

It’s been complicated by: When his newly marvellous power reveals that he is the things of his male colleague’s affection, a thirty-year-old virgin gets more than he bargained for.

Adachi, a thirty-year-old virgin, has developed the ability to read minds just by touching a person. After a chance encounter with his extraordinarily attractive coworker, Adachi realises the man has a mad crush on him.

Seven volumes have already been published in English by Square Enix Manga & & Books, with an eighth book scheduled for release in August. Next Monday, in Japan, the 12th volume will be released.

While this is the first anime adaptation of the series, it has already been adapted multiple times in live-action form in Japan and Thailand.
